The company was created after spending time watching what toys our children and relations enjoyed playing with and which ones rarely came out of the box. All our products are of the highest quality and most are approved by our 5 year old! Worton Cottage fair trade rag dolls are hand made. Their factory operates to the principles of fair trade. No children are employed and all the workers are paid wages according to set norms. Supporting the local economy is something we strongly believe in. Wherever possible, our raw materials including our vibrant handloom fabrics are bought locally. This can mean that sometimes the finished items may vary slightly from the photographs on this website. We think this adds to the charm and unique nature of their products.
